Fifty-six. The Naming

Listen

Synthetic narration · Download audio

The naming voice tries Emin, Tomas and Aron for the boy before the eighth candle. Nadia and Roza give way to the third bed and Halide for the mother. Dora becomes Sabine, then Dora again for the woman with the ledger. Marek and Selim are tried for the chair-carrier before the voice chooses nothing. These are revisions within the attempt, not newly confirmed biographies.

Some names already exist. Rauf and Lida need no replacement names to establish their hurt bodies. Suna's single name belongs to both taking and returning the carrier; the page cannot confine her to one moral side. The widow may echo two other women without resolving whether they are three or one. R seventy-three remains a designation answered to, not a settled personal name.

The stopping points differ. The Secretary's joke is protected; two people have had enough of being recorded. Ferit is easily written and then struck through, with the strike left legible. Four attempts fail to attach a name to the cat. More people have appeared, but the page has not grown longer. These local limits do not guarantee freedom from every other record or cost.
