The page can be approached through form without translating it. Its three paragraphs contain eighty-four, sixty-seven and forty-four words, counting units separated by spaces. Together they make one hundred and ninety-five. The paragraphs become shorter, but that measured shape is not an English rendering of what they say. The narration keeps the same boundary: it offers ways to return to the page, not a substitute text.

Three later stories provide one route through its recurrences. Kindly Confirm and Order Was Restored repeat recognizable words and gestures; the final title story carries a later phrase. These are invitations to compare the passages after reading those stories. Recurrence does not make the scenes identical, and shared language does not settle every identity. The differences in what comes back belong in the comparison too.

A second route connects the page with Cheap Words through a household practice, with The Rate through a numerical sequence, and with Many Happy Returns through weather. Those links select three supported counterparts rather than cataloging every connection. They make the Esperanto story part of the same collection while leaving its sentences untranslated and its reading in the reader's hands.
