About the work

This is Nu Day in Her Own Way from The Most Expensive Artworks Project collaboration by Athena Novo and Mad Monk. It is a remix of Modigliani's Nu Couche with a dose of some more Modigliani . It is No 10 (skipping a lot in between at will) in the project in parallel with its place on the list. Accordingly it has been last sold November 2015 in Christie's New York for USD 170 million. The seller was Laura Mattioli Rossi and the buyer was Liu Yiqian. ... The Most Expensive Artworks Project started with an idea and a web page on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_paintings.
