The seal
A green check that has never fired is not evidence. It is the shape of evidence, which is a different object and is easier to mistake for the real one the longer it stays green.
What the instrument is
Each invariant names a form, the pieces it must stand in, and the count it must stand at. Together they hold the Turkish edition’s fixed vocabulary and its verbatim echoes in place, so a helpful later hand cannot vary one half of a link and leave the other.

The two limbs
The self-test injects an occurrence at a piece that is not a home and requires the check to convict; then it deletes an occurrence at a real home and requires the check to convict again. Both are done on a copy held in memory. The live tree is never touched.
And the honest half of that: the deletion limb can only fire where there is something to delete. 16 of the 283 are armed at zero and are testable on one limb only. That is by construction and not by oversight, and it is printed here because a figure of 283 that quietly means 267 on one of its two limbs is the kind of figure this pavilion exists to take apart.
The seal had never been taken
The self-test is gated behind a green tree on purpose: on a tree that is already red, an injected fault cannot be told from the standing ones. The tree was red-because-unfiled for the whole of the stage. So for the whole of the debt window the invariants carried no self-check at all — and the document that handed them to the next session said the opposite in the same breath as it handed over the red tree.
The register’s row — the check the 280 standing-rule invariants, as an instrument, reporting they convict on injection and on deletion:
they had carried no self-check at all. --selftest is gated behind a clean tree, and the tree had been red-because-unfiled since the invariants were armed — so no GREEN limb had ever been fooled-and-survived — the whole debt window measured by an instrument nothing had proved could measure. What came back when it finally ran
This is a dated observation, not a live figure. The self-test was re-run against this tree on 2026-08-29 and passed at 283 invariants in 331 seconds. The site does not re-run it at build time — a page load may not cost a machine minutes — but the count and the shape of the two limbs above are read from the instrument at every build, and the build stops if the count moves away from the one this sentence names. A dated claim that has gone stale is the fault the rest of this pavilion is about.
And one arming, which is the discipline
A form was armed against its own coining site. The sentence is printed with commas around it where it is first used, and with no stop at all where it recurs inside an unpunctuated page. Arming the obvious string — the coiner’s own surface — measures one home, reads the other at zero, and convicts a piece whose text is correct. The measurement was taken before the form was chosen, and the armed form carries no comma.
And once, a form was armed on a bare word that is also ordinary Turkish. The self-test convicted the row on its first run, before any build had stood on it.
«Burada» is ordinary Turkish for here and stands in thirteen files — thirteen innocent files convicted, or the invariant passed as vacuous — whichever way the limb was read.
