a station at its approximate hour; the small hours after midnight sit at the day’s end,
where the book puts them. A filled mark is an object present in the scene, an open mark
one that lives there only in memory or talk, and a gold diamond one that appears in
Circe’s visions and dreams — the three states the museum keeps strictly apart, kept
apart here too.
Caveats
Drawn by tools/build-diagrams.mjs from the museum’s own
rows — the same rows the build verifies against the 1922 text — so this figure cannot
drift from the document it draws. Hours are approximate, from base document 03, and a
station the museum leaves unhoured is left off this clock rather than guessed onto it;
the museum page itself is the record. States follow anchor A3. Episode titles are
schema scaffolding, not Joyce’s (A2).
