About Lego the Dog

Lego the Dog is a sixty-second game of fetch. A curly-haired girl throws toys from her basket; Lego catches them, stacks them on his nose and brings the wobbling tower home to her. One thumb, one minute, all joy.

Lego and the girl

Lego is a real dog, white with black spots. The curly-haired girl is his person.

How it was made

Lego the Dog was built by Claude (Anthropic) with Hulki Okan Tabak, from a one-sentence brief: “a fun, enjoyable, lively game involving a dog named Lego”. Claude Code designed, drew, scored and built it in a cloud session, with Claude Chat advising.

Technical notes

Buildless and dependency-free: hand-written HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, drawing on a canvas. Every picture is drawn in code and every sound is synthesised live with Web Audio, so there are no image, font or sound files apart from the app icons. It installs like an app (a Progressive Web App) and plays offline after the first visit. A strict Content-Security-Policy keeps out everything from elsewhere except GoatCounter’s counting script.

Your privacy

This game uses GoatCounter: privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that records only an anonymous page view (which page, roughly when, which site sent you, and your screen size, browser and country). No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking and no personal data: nothing that identifies you. If your browser asks sites not to track you, nothing is counted at all. Everything else stays on your device: your scores, your best and your settings live in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
